United States! A Nation Of Imaginary Millionaires!

If you where to look at America with no social experience of the country but just knowledge of the economic policies supported by the American people you would come to one conclusion only and that is that every person in the United States is a millionaire give or take 1 or 2 people, what other reason could it be for them to support such policies like the privatization of health, education, housing and so on, the non support for a truly national labor union , the lack of social welfare to help the poorest? The only reason people would support these policies if they are educated rich people looking out for their own interests! So is every American a millionaire? of course not, in fact most Americans are struggling to survive on the low incomes of working class people in the United States. So why do they,not all but most, support policies which goes against their interest? and in fact plunges them deeper into poverty by having to pay more in tax, pay for health or the education of their children in privately owed institutions which should be under the control of the government and used to serve the people with the tax money they pay.

The Tea-Party for example, although I am far from agreeing with their policies, I do have sympathy with the ordinary legitimately concerned tea partier. They do have legitimate concerns, Ok so they might not be the most politically knowledgeable bunch but their concerns are real and legitimate But here is where it turns sour, the feelings of these concerned working and middle class people has being hijacked by the corporate US libertarian sector such as families like the hugely wealthy and powerful Koch Brothers, The libertarian sector of the US corporate system supports pure laissez-faire economics, ie. th total deregulation of the markets to be run without government involvement, they want the privatization of literally everything from health care to housing to education, national security, the judicial system everything so what these wealthy US Libertarians done was when the republican grassroots who felt neglected by the system came together under the name of The Tea Party they took advantage of their growing fears in order to stop Obama policies of regulation of the economy and social ownership of the health system, And it was easy for them all they had to do was pump millions into propaganda, lies, fear mongering, and all other tactics of twisting the facts in order to seduce the middle class and working class republicans into their support for libertarian-capitalist economics.

An easy fear that they preyed on was the fear of Obama that exists in the grassroots of republican support, they pumped propaganda to the people about how Obama was anti-american and an Arab possibly even a Muslim undercover, seriously many tea partiers believed this, they would be walking around with contradictory signs saying “damn socialism, keep you hands of my medicare”. This is a major fear these people have, socialism, how could working people and middle class people be so misinformed about socialism that they thinks it’s not in their favor when in fact it’s totally in their favor? simple answer really propaganda and misinformation, if you want to discredit the great name of socialism just refer to so-called socialists like Stalin or Mao or soviet union and to apolitical people it works straight away, but to people who know any politics they will know Stalin, Lenin and the rest of the so-called communists where right-wing in everything they done, the only communist thing about them was the miss-titled name of their political party.

And this type of preying on legitimate fears of working Americans to support policy not in their favor is conducted by both the republican and democrats with help of both their buddies in the corporate privately owned media outlets in the US. The news is guilty as much as politicians for corrupting the minds of citizens they help distort the reality of Washington policy in order to try make it look attractive to the citizens who would naturally oppose it if they knew any better.

Lets look at Heath care for example, in most European countries every citizen is entitled to free public health care of the highest standard, it’s so free even if an illegal immigrant needed care off, in most European countries they would be taken care of by a doctor in any hospital. If you asked the politically more aware populations of Europe if they wanted to privatize health care they would laugh at you, and no distorting the facts or propaganda would make them think any different, to them it is simply ‘why pay more when you already pay for it with your tax’. But in the US when Obama and the democrats try introduce a similar system of public health care the ordinary people who can’t get it otherwise resist it ? why would they resist healthcare being offered for free? simple because a campaign of miss-information, propaganda and complete lies directed by the republican corporate owned politicians who would rather them citizens pay than live .

Americans need to wake up and realize all the tax they pay is meant to be spent by the government on such things like giving them free health care, free education, social welfare and so on, instead what they don’t realize is their taxes is going to building new technology infrastructure and so on that can then be giving to the private sector to make a profit on, such as government paid programmes in weapons technology that is commissioned to companies like Halliburton who then make hundreds of billions of dollars on the back of taxpayers money, the make billions while the ordinary taxpayer left to fork out even more money for their health care and education which they should have already paid for with their taxes.

The system in the US needs to change as one TV host said before “Americans need to stop denying their love of socialism”. Socialism and policies not supported by the US government is in their favor and not the corporate policies they currently are seduced into supporting.

Maybe we should have taking that 400 billion dollars used to bail out private banks and insurance companies and used it instead to help deprived neglected communities, maybe build schools and hospitals in these area and employ local workers, not only will you be helping the poor with health and education but also you will be giving them jobs and more money to make their lives better, and when they have more money they will spend more which maybe would stimulate the economy more than squandering 400 billion to unaccountable oligarchy’s

Israel, the land of justice?, a land created to stop the atrocities suffered by the jewish people over centuries, a land we are told is a democracy, a land we are told by the mainstream is a paradise of morality, justice, equality and freedom! Yes that is correct to the cave dwelling neo-cons and ignoramus mainstream pro-Israeli academics in the US and Israel. we are told constantly by the propaganda machine that is western mainstream news outlets that Israel is the victim of Arab terrorism and what is poor Israel to do but defend itself?, I am so fed up with hearing this especially at this time since Israel is now planing an imminent attack on Iran, we are falsely told that Iran is the aggressor and Israel merely the nice kid protecting himself from the big bad iranian school bully, let’s be honest the aggressor in this case is Israel it is not Iran, I ask you name one incident where Iranian ministers have said they will attack Israel? name one Iranian minister who met with Obama to plan and discuss a potential attack on Israel? name one Iranian minister that sanctioned Iranian spies to go into Israel to assassinate its scientist through terrorist means like the use of a car bomb or unmanned drones ? the fact is you wont find anything of the sort and yes Israel is guilty of all these actions of which Iran is innocent off.

For the Past 2 or 3 or more years the chief war monger in the world Benjamin Netanyahu has strolled his way around the corrupt halls of Washington sneakily and inhumanely gathering the support from the washington lot for his craving for war, after years, decades actually, of supporting the brutal treatment of the occupied Palestinian people, Netanyahu wants MORE, oh yes he wants a lot more, so much more that now he wants to bomb the “sand” out of Iran. Netanyahu does not care for the consequences of such an action and the massive loss of INNOCENT life that could happen if such an idea where to become reality, all he cares about is power, power over Israel, power of the arab world and influence in the wider world, Netanyahu is not a stupid man he has an IQ of 157+ allegedly, any man with an IQ level that high must understand what a war with Iran could spring up, we are not five-year old children playing with toy soldiers, we are not ancient kings playing war on a chess board we are talking about real War, where thousands if not hundreds of thousands of men women and children all of whom are innocent will die, am I the only person in this god forsaken world who boils with anger at the thought of these sleazy, inhuman, rich, out of touch politicians playing war with my life ?? Enough is enough Israel must be put in its place and told to get of the road to lunacy it is on.

I’m going to soften on the personal outrage as it might take away credibility of my argument but please understand why i get so personal, it is WAR after all.

I want to look at the myths and fear mongering the politicians and the media have spouted about Iran in the last 3 years or so to amp up support for war on Iran. then I will go onto “If Iran is not a threat why does the US and Israel want war with Iran?”

Firstly to the myths and the hypocrisy that surround the myths.The main myth and basically the only reason we are giving for a potential war with Iran is the myth than Iran either has or is in the process of developing a nuclear “weapons”,  so let us look at the use of such a myth by Washington and Tel-Aviv and whether the myth is true or not.

In 2009 on the day he was sworn in as prime minister of Israel, Benjamin told Jeffery Goldberg of The Atlantic newspaper that “The Obama presidency has two great missions: fixing the economy, and preventing Iran from gaining nuclear weapons,” after stating it would be a “failure of western civilization to allow Iran to develop Nuclear weapons” he continued with his old right-wing fear mongering propaganda by saying “You don’t want a messianic apocalyptic cult controlling atomic bombs. When the wide-eyed believer gets hold of the reins of power and the weapons of mass death, then the entire world should start worrying, and that is what is happening in Iran.”, so here we come across our first use of the myth by Netanyahu whilst PM, since then this myth has being so forcefully rammed down our throats by the private mainstream news that it is widely but ignorantly believed to be fact, but ask yourself  is Iran developing nuclear weapons? the plain and simple fact is no , ok so you don’t believe me ? How about the US intelligence sector which includes the CIA and all other intelligence branches who said  in a report issued by the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) in November 2007 that Iran has not got an active Nuclear weapons programme, and they reaffirmed this position in the NIE 2010. you might now be saying hold on recent reports this week from Israeli media are saying the NIE has told Obama that Iran has made “substantial progress towards developing nuclear weapons”, but ask yourself who is saying this? it is from Israeli media, so what does Washington and the Whitehouse national security council say? they came out a day after Israeli media made such claims and said, according to the national security council spokesperson “We believe that there is time and space to continue to pursue a diplomatic path, backed by growing international pressure on the Iranian government“ the spokesman said, he added “We continue to assess that Iran is not on the verge of achieving a nuclear weapon.”  also according to James Clapper the US director of national intelligence in his January congressional testimony  “We assess Iran is keeping open the option to develop nuclear weapons, in part by developing various nuclear capabilities that better position it to produce such weapons, should it choose to do so. We do not know, however, if Iran will eventually decide to build nuclear weapons.” the director of national intelligence saying himself there is no weapons and no plan as of yet to develop any nuclear weapon programme, (I will get onto the nuclear activities of Iran of which James Clapper mentions later in the article)

Do you want more findings, how about the IAEA report of 2012 which said that prior to 2003 Iran had some activities “which were relevant” to developing a nuclear device, and that it is involved in activities that contradicts its obligations BUT the IAEA said it found no hard evidence of activity towards the actual development of a Nuclear device

There is much more evidence to back the fact Iran has no programme to develop nuclear devices, all intelligence agencies from the CIA to Mossad who both were reported by US Intelligence officials in march of this year as agreeing that Iran has no programme to develop a nuclear device.

The hypocrisy of Israel claiming it must stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons is the fact Israel has hundreds of illegally held nuclear weapons, they are illegal because Israel refuses to sing up-to the nuclear non-proliferation act

This evidence by all intelligence agencies should simply show that the myth we are told for war with Iran is simply that a “myth” and we should not be going to war on a “myth” look where Iraq got us.

So what has Iran got in nuclear terms if not weapons? Iran has the capabilities and is developing nuclear “energy”, not “weapons but energy, I am not going to get into much on the energy front because I feel it is irrelevant to this situation since first they are permitted to by the UN under certain circumstances, one being to make no moves towards activities of developing nuclear weapons, and secondly  it is because we are told the basis of war is to stop Iran developing Nuclear “weapons” not energy.

If Iran does not have a nuclear weapons programme then why does Netanyahu want war with them? Simple, as all western supported overthrows in the middle east, it is for a few things actually, First it is for Israel to show the Arabs who is boss, after all Israel cannot have a country like Iran becoming too influential especially with the wars raging in Iraq, Afghanistan and the rest of the secret wars in the arab world, why does it fear Iranian influence and power in the region? simple a stronger Iran with wider influence in the Middle East threatens American and Israeli dominance over the region and its resources, and at a time when the people of various Arab nations are freeing themselves after decades of dictatorship this fear of Iranian influence over these newly formed ruling classes such as Egypt and Libya, becomes even more worrying to US and its client state Israel. Another reason Israel is pushing for war with Iran is the Palestinian question, Israel fears Iranian influence and support given to the Palestinian resistance in the occupied territories, Israel under Netanyahu has no intention of agreeing to a two-state solution and fears Israel being forced into accepting the resolution under pressure from a rising Iranian influence.

There is no big mystery or altruist argument for the potential war with Iran it is simply just Israel with the support of the US upholding its brutal dominance over the middle east and the riches that come from the control over the regions resources.

I will finish by saying that Israel much be put in its place by the US and International community and warned off attacking Iran and starting a potentially lethal war that could take the lives of un-imaginable numbers of people all innocent me women and children who are so young they haven’t even realized they are Iranian or Israeli yet if a war begins they could die because of that simple fact, The US and Israel have already destroyed the lives of countless Arab people which has resulted in blow-back like 9/11 Al-Qaeda and the rise of extreme Islam in the Arab world, pursuing another mindless war will only push the world into continued instability and extremism of which Israel and the US claim they are fighting but who create the extremism through their policies.

Iran is not the aggressor Israel and the US are the aggressors and the evidence shows that to be factual and not just and figment of my imagination.

Who Needs A Boss?

Most people will work for someone they refer to as the boss, in a small company most cases it is the owner of the company whilst in large multi-national companies it will be a long pyramid of lawyers, CEO’s and chairmen. These élite of the companies get paid massive salaries, In the United States a CEO makes an average salary of 35,000 a day, compared to the average American citizens who makes 34,000 a year, so the average CEO makes more in one day than his employee who’s labor produces the companies profits which then go to make the company élite extremely wealthy, while the employee who created the wealth of the copay through his labor is left to struggle by on an average of 34,000 a year. My question is why do we need the scroungers of societies labor? In other-words what justification can be giving for someone who plays no real role in the running of the company and its production? Why don’t we just get rid of these CEO’s who are making millions and put the full control of the company into the hands of the workers who’s produce is more important to the company stability than that of scrounging CEO’s who have no benefit on the company’s stability and only scrounge of the profits created by they workers.

People might say “what you are saying is nonsense and impossible because we need the CEO’s to run the company” but I ask do we really ? What exactly are they doing to benefit the company? Are they running it? The answer is no, 1 man or a company board of directors play no real role in the running of their companies, especially if they are large multi-national companies, the fact is the running of the company is done by the workers and not the boss, If workers in any company stopped producing the company would collapse but if the board of directors quit then the workers would just step into fill the gaps left by the Board i.e. making purchases, choosing the direction of the company, when to hire and when to take cuts and other “paperwork” that was done by the Board, now you might be saying that’s just impossible but I am afraid you are wrong and yes I will give you an example or two, one example of workers taking control of their company is that of the Forja Auto Plant company in Buenos Aires Argentina, the company was left bankrupt and the employees sacked, while under bankrupt protection the workers decided to take control of the company, illegal according to Argentinian law, the worker went on to run it as a workers cooperative while also having to fight court order after court order, eviction after eviction until they where finally giving control of it and turn now make a nice profit which has made their salaries double, they run this cooperative as equal pay, so no matter what position you hold in the company you get the same pay and all work at different things to make sure the smooth running of the company, any decision needed to be taking in regard of the company is taking at a workers meeting where each worker has an equal vote and a majority by a certain percentage wins, Sound familiar?

Another case of south American workers taking control of their bankrupt company is that in Argentina of The Brukman Textile Factory which went bankrupt and was taking over by its mostly middle-aged female staff, they like that of Forja workers turned it into a workers cooperative where they all play a role in running the company and filling the simple tasks left by the Company executives, they tripled their income to $60,000 a year each and all get equal pay and all get equal vote on company matters which like the Forja worker is decided at a meeting of the workers.

They are not the only cases they are just 2 of hundreds of bankrupt companies that have being taking over and recovered by the workers through the system of workers co-ops, it is happening all around the world, mostly in South America and Asia but also in Europe there have being recent reports of employees occupying their bankrupt companies in order to keep their jobs, This new surge in realization that workers can take control of their companies and get a better life and the full profits of their labor is creating a change politically and economically, the more stories that come out of workers taking control of their companies then the more it will urge others to do the same. After all if the workers where in charge of Goldman Sachs or Lehman Brothers I have a feeling things wouldn’t be as bad, instead people like Henry Paulson and Dick Fuld jr. of Lehman played no role in creating Lehman and Goldman’s wealth all they done was scrounged on the profits and made stupid company decisions all because the lust and greed that accompanies such power as that of 1 man in power of one of the worlds largest companies

we do not need these scroungers robbing the profits of someone else’s hard labor, instead we should banish them to the pages of history and advance the system of worker co-ops it will not only help to improve the life’s of the existing employees but also others it hires, It has the potential to pull millions of people out of poverty, if these big privately owned companies that operate in the third world where put in control of workers then it would help pull the people around them out of poverty and help advance the development of the third world politically, socially and economically.

Syrians, Occupiers And The Propaganda Campaign

Whats the difference between Syrian protestors and the occupy movement? the answer is not much, there is no fundamental difference between the two, apart from the fact that one group is operating in an arab nation which is pro-iran and an enemy of the US, and the other is a group operating in the worlds foremost superpower the US, you see the reason the Syrian revolution is called a revolution while the occupiers are called lunatics is simple, its called propaganda, only propaganda can turn a complicated civil-war in Syria into a united revolution, and only propaganda can turn a movement of thousands of working people like Occupy into a movement of lunatics and rapists alcoholics

First lets look at Syria and how propaganda has turned a historical ethnic and religious divide into a spontaneous revolution of the people, Syria is a nation divided on tribal lines, now the country is being led by Bashar Al-Assad who hails from the Alawi religious/ethnic group, he came to power in 2000 after succeeding his father Havez Al-Assad who ruled for 29 years.

His father rose to power in the 70s and purged the Syrian Ba’ath party in order to effectively  have an Alawi ruled Syria, this understandably created tension among other tribes who had lost power and influence in Syria, so ever since then there has being political dissesnt and protest in Syria in order to overthrow the Alawis and install some other tribe to power, and the current Syrian uprising is just the continuation of such political dissent, it is not a revolution in the western sense, as in it is not a united people fighting to overthrow one regime to install a regime of equality, instead it is a civil-war where you have many ethnic and religious groups  fighting to gain power for their group.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    So how on earth do people in the west believe the Syrian uprising is a spontaneous revolution by a united people to gain freedom from a horrible government? it is simple, the reason western citizens believe such complete nonsense is because of propaganda, the west is the most propagandized place on earth and America is the most propagandized nation in modern history a lot more so than nazi germany. Through a media technique that arose in the 70s/80s and called the propaganda model, Americans have become completely under the influence of propaganda created by the elitists to dumb people down so that the élite sector can go about its darker activities without the fear of  public interest in what they do, for example in a 2006 Harris interactive poll 50% of americans polled believed Saddam had WMDs, another HI poll in 2006 said 64% of Americans believed Saddam Hussein had strong links to al-Qaeda, one more recent example found that 22% of america actually believe Saddam planned 9/11.

How can so many people believe such obvious lies ? again it is mass propaganda that is conducted by profit-first news channels who all go along with what politicians and the business sector want them to say. The reason the west and mainly the US does not want its citizens knowing the truth about the history of these middle east uprisings is because it fears americans and westerners in general will become aware of the long and mostly brutal western political and business involvement in the political and social life of numerous MENA countries. so instead of the political and financial élite telling the truth of the arab uprisings instead what they do is get their media buddies to broadcast black and white propaganda that makes the civil-war in Syria out to be a spontaneous revolution, this technique of historical revisionism not only distracts the population at home from past american involvement but it also creates a surge of support for new american military activity in the MENA region, and of course western politicians love to jump at any chance they get to increase their influence over third world countries.

Now lets look at the occupy movement and how propaganda by a profit first media has turned a legitimate political movement of concerned young and old people into a movement of crackpot rapists. The answer to such a smear is that the US media and other privately owned profit first news channels in the west media have completely set out from the start to smear the Occupy movement, for the simple reason that the people who own and make a profit out of the corporate media are part of the 1% that the occupy movement is fighting against, they are part of the capitalist system that most occupiers oppose, they are the enemy of the occupiers so why would the enemy of the movement broadcast positive news coverage and information on it? it would be complete stupidity for mainstream news and financial institutions to support a movement that wants to overthrow the system they currently profit from. The élite in politics, media and business fear the population becoming aware of their activities and that’s why since the 50s they have conducted a propaganda campaign to misinform the public in order to pacify a natural tendency to revolt, and the current negative coverage and misinformation on the occupy movement is just another example of the establishment trying to tame as Noam Chomsky calls “the great beast”, the public.

You see the Occupy movement is a movement not of lunatic alcoholic crackpots, it is a movement of educated and concerned citizens that include factory workers, builders, students, professors, and people from all walks of life that are concerned about their children, their rights, their freedom, they are concerned about the victims of american policy, they are not lunatics but rational compassionate people, after all they have had highly regarded supporters and speakers from such fields as economics, political science, history philosophy and journalism, from Amy Goodman to Norman Finkelstein, Steve Keen and even Chomsky. How can a movement which gets support from such figures be ignored by the mainstream as lunatic? the answer again is propaganda, the establishment wont support it because if it does then the majority of hard-working people in the west will support it and this will eventually lead to a political shift in power and economics that will affect their own interests politically and financially so the obvious thing for these media elitists to do is smear the legitimate concerns of working people in order to uphold their own grip on power that would be destroyed if occupy got its way.

Remember the difference between Syrian protestors and occupy protestors, is that Syrians have western propaganda on their side while occupiers have it against them, and it is hell of a lot easier to overthrow a corrupt regime when you have such propaganda and military power on your side. The media should stop being hypocrites again by supporting Syrian and arab protestors while at the same time denouncing their own concerned citizens who have the courage and dedication to get out on the streets and protest against the greed and abuse of power by figures in the politics, finance and media and to rightfully oppose violations of their political and economic rights.We need to look past the obvious propaganda that is out to strip citizens of their right to protest and their right to truth, we need to be rational when looking at such situations because we all know if the occupy movement happened in an arab country then the US and Its media mouthpieces would be openly supporting it as a “democratic revolution by the ordinary people” its just when the revolution affects their interest that they don’t support it.

Rumsfeld meets Saddam During Iraq/Iran war                                                                 

I am writing this article in response to the American conservative media, public and politicians who refuse to accept that blowback from American foreign policy in the middle east was the cause of 9/11 rather than their accepted lie that it is “Muslim fundamentalist angry at Americas freedom and prosperity”.

To conservatives in America who are highly nationalistic accepting they had responsibility in causing 9/11 is near blasphemous!

The reason i am writing this article is because was once again I was watching Hannity tonight when he was talking to Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, Sean was angry at the fact that the Iman said soon after 9/11 during a 60 minutes debate that Osama Bin Laden was “American made” because of the foreign policy of America in Muslim lands for the last 50 years.
Sean like all on the American right refuses and I say again absolutely refuses to even consider the idea that America the bigger evil.

The reality that conservatives refuse to accept, is that for 40+ years America has implemented a foreign policy in the Middle East that has resulted in the death of millions of Muslims, the robbery of their oil and gas resources by American corporations in conclusion with dictators, the plunging of generations of Muslims into abstain poverty and other inhuman effects of American policy.

I wont go on long about the beginning of american foreign policy in the M.E. But quickly I will state that During the 60, 70s and 80s American administrations conducted numerous wars and military operations into Muslim countries in Asia and the Middle east which resulted in such American policy like the support of dictators in these countries like that of Mubarak in Egypt or Ben-Ali in Tunisia or Abdullah Saleh in The Yemen.
By supporting such dictators America quickly became hated by the muslim public who were being oppressed by these dictator friends of the US.

Now let’s come up to date with the history that most people will be aware of, In the 1980s during the Iraq/Iran war, Donald Rumsfeld as the representative of America started selling Saddam Hussein chemical weapons and other military technology because at this time Saddam was a friend of America whilst Iran was the enemy since the 70s when the ayatollah Khomeini came to power in Iran after his movement overthrew the American backed shah of Iran, America also tried to sell weapons to the Iran contras to overthrow the Iranian government this became know as the Iran-contra affair.
Also during the war Iraq supported by America with weapons, committed the genocide of Iraq’s kurdish population leaving 185,000 people dead. In the Public arena the Regan Administration condemned these actions but in reality done nothing to prevent it and in fact is part responsible for it by selling the WMDs to Saddam.

Then in 1990 Iraq-American relations worsened with Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait but not before giving Saddam the go ahead for the invasion in the first place, this invasion that America first supported led to another American led coalition invasion of Arab lands in what is known as the gulf war, this invasion although supported by Arab friends of America was disliked by the ordinary Arab citizen because to them it was just the US invading and killing Muslims again.

Staying on the Iraq, as we all know in 2003 after a long propaganda battle and refusal to accept international law America with its Cronies in the Financial markets and other countries being led by neo-con/liberal politicians illegally invaded Iraq and during a couple of days using it’s so-called tactic of “shock and awe” it managed to plunge Iraq back centuries, the shock and awe campaign involved dropping more bombs on Baghdad in a couple of days than was dropped during the whole of ww2.
During these few nights possibly 100,000+ people were killed it is still unclear exactly how many were murdered by American bombs.
Once America had turned Iraq to rubble it sent over Paul Bremer to lead the “reconstruction” of Iraq, the first thing done by Bremer done was to disband the Iraqi army which instantly left 500,000 militarily trained people unemployed and desperate to survive in this “new” Iraq, Bremer then outlawed the Baath party and made it illegal for former Baathists to be in politics, this resulted in Many former Baathists and unemployed soldiers setting up paramilitary in Iraq to fight the American invasion and destruction of their power but also their society these newly formed paramilitaries became what is now known as the “Iraqi insurgency”.
The fact of what happened to Iraq’s resources after the invasion is another reason for hatred of America in muslim lands, after the invasion, Iraq’s oil and gas was shipped out in the billions of barrels, by American corporations who were giving the oil contracts by Bush and Cheney, all the profits from these resources went straight back to the American treasury and American corporations, it did not go to the Iraqi government and people, something which the Iraqi people had expected would happen after the invasion.
This squandering of Iraq’s wealth and resources by “Western invaders” was greatly despised by the Iraqi population who after decades of misery under Saddam thought they would finally get a better life only to be plunged into, so far, a decade long life of poverty, war and desperation.

Another policy of the US that is greatly disliked by the Muslim world is the unrelenting support militarily, financially and politically the US has given to Israel.
As I wrote about before, America for over 30 years has backed Israels wars against the Muslim world because Israel is their number one client state. For years America has vetoed UN resolution 242 year after year which has stopped any attempt to bring peace and prosperity to the Palestinian people.
The US has supported, with weapons, money and words of support, Israels invasion and war against Lebanon through the decades, most recent being the Israeli war with Lebanon in 2006.
Plus the fact the US let’s Israel have Nuclear weapons illegally but invades Muslims countries when an attempt factually or not to acquire similar weapons. This lack of double standard towards Israel has, like most of American policy, caused a distrust from the Muslim world towards America.

Lastly let us look at Osama Bin Laden and why Iman Feisal Abdul Rauf was correct to say he was “american made”, Iman Feisal meant “American made” as in Osama Bin Laden was created as a response to bad American policy in the M.E.
I will go further and state it is a well-known fact that during the Soviet War In Afghanistan through the 70s and 80s. America supported Bin-Laden, Osama who was then  a young man from a wealthy Saudi family went to Afghanistan to fight and lead the mujahideen resistance against the Soviet army, and America through Zbigniew Brzezinski met him in Afghanistan to commit themselves to supporting Bin-Laden with weapons and money to defeat the Russians,. It is also well-known That during the 70s and right up till about 1989 Osama was on the payroll of the CIA this is a well-known fact, so when the Iman states Osama is “American made” he is correct twice over, first he’s American made because of bad policy and second he’s American made because of the support he received from the Whitehouse during his early fighting days.
I am not saying Osama worked for CIA during 2001 and that 9/11 was an inside job what I am saying is, that if it was not for America supporting him in his early days then he would never have being in a position to plan such a large-scale attack like 9/11
And also if America was not so brutal in their foreign policy towards the Middle East then 9/11 would not have happened, it is American foreign policy that caused a group of people to become so hateful as for them to commit such an attack.
Al-Qaeda isn’t against America because they are jealous of American freedom and wealth they are fighting America because of very bad American Policy which has literally killed millions of Muslims and Arabs in general !!

So I say once again Conservative America must come out of the closet of denial and accept the reality that America not only has responsibility for 9/11 but also that Osama Bin Laden is “American made” by means of past support and bad policy.

Obama Supports Gay Marriage! He Also Supports Palestinian Statehood

The gay community in America and around the world in general are in a fit of excitement with the announcement Wednesday afternoon by President Obama that he supports the legalization of same-sex marriage.
Gay organizations and supporters are making such a fuss about this announcement, it’s as if they think this means same-sex marriage will be realistic soon in America, well let me wake my fellow gays up by saying president Obama also supports UN resolution 242 which calls for the end to the Israel/Palestine conflict and the creation of a Palestinian state. To those who might not understand what I mean by such a comparison, let me elaborate ! What I am saying is just because Obama says he supports something does not mean it’s going to happen for instance he says he supports resolution 242 but in reality he has his UN ambassador veto the resolution the past 3 years proving that he says one thing while in reality doing another in order to keep the votes and political donations from influential donors whether they be influential members of the Jewish community when Its Israel in discussion or whether it’s influential donors of a conservative background when issues like gay marriage or abortion are the subject.

It is unwise for lgbt organizations to jump to the conclusion that same-sex marriage will be evident soon just because Obama supports it in words, after all we must remember there is a huge Christian conservative vote in the US and right now there is an even bigger anti-Obamaconservative vote, and these anti-Obama proponents of influence, like Sean hannity of fox news will do whatever is in their power to oppose gay marriage on two reasons, firstly because they see gay marriage as a step in the “destruction of marriage and an unnatural evil” they also will oppose it simply so they don’t have suppport “the socialist marxist” Obama !
Yes you might be thinking “do Americans oppose certain policy because it’s supported by certain politicians?” well yes American conservatives particularly those in high places of power will oppose legislation supported by Obama on the grounds he’s a democrat and black, it’s not a theory it’s fact just watch American tv or read American newspapers

Also another rarely spoken fact is the fact of “liberal Europe“, you see Europe sees itself as the mature more tolerant older brother of the US, and there is noway in hell European leaders are going to let the US legalize gay marriage before them, because there is noway Europe and it’s leaders can be seen to be less intolerant than the religiously conservative America, especially when Europeans like to boast of their higher level of tolerance and liberalism than that of Americans! so If same-sex marriage is to be legalized in the USA then you should be waiting for Europe to do it first, and when Europe legalizes it then lgbt organizations should be getting excited, because it will show two things, first that Europe as a whole has moved on a lot since the decriminalization of homosexuality 20 years ago and secondly it will give a sign that the American administration is making moves in the same direction because there is a simple egotistical fact of modern western politics and that is their obsession with be seen as most liberal and democratic, Europe can’t be seen as less democratic and liberal than American and visa versa, so when one of them makes a move you can quickly expect the other to follow.
So I say again do not get over excited just because president Obama says he supports same-sex marriage, as I said at start and in title, he also says he supports resolution 242 but in reality vetoes it’s implementation which has resulted in the Palestinians living in squalid conditions of oppression, occupation, poverty etc. For 4decades.
I write this article in response to the media and social fuss made about Obamas announcement and also because of personally hearing friends get their hopes up when I know better and know there is no meaning behind Obamas words, after all in 2004 he supported same-sex marriage, in 2006 he was undecided, in 2007 and 2008 he was opposed to it and now in 2012 he supports it, all of which he publicly stated during televised interviews and speeches.

So I finish by once again saying relax chill out and don’t be getting excited because the president says something wait till he acts on what he says then get excited, did African Americans get excited when some politician voiced support for them long before the civil rights? No because they where wiser than to believe the false hope giving by a politicians words when their surrounded by a bigger group of voices opposing their rights
After all a politician gets elected and makes a career out of giving words of false hope to citizens who know no better !

How Centralized Power Obstructs Human Freedom

I will start of by stating clear that I am a passionate Believer in anarchist political philosophy so this post will unashamedly be from an anti-stateist biased perspective!

For centuries the existence of state democracy and the centralization of power to the hands of a small few has completely obliterated the independence of people and their rights, proponents of stateism will argue that central democracy has civilized society and advanced human rights so if we abolish the state then society will crumble, In fact if you look at the reality of stateist politics what you find is that since the western worlds transition around a couple of thousand years ago from a primitive anarchist society to a society of the centralization of power you will see that the individual freedom of humans and society has being destroyed, the human rights that where once the norm back then are now outlawed, or have only recently being made legal , gay relations and individual freedoms being an example something practiced openly in ancient primitive anarchist societies but which under the centralization of political and religious power became outlawed for over centuries and freedoms like full independence over yourself have being completely long forgotten in the passively brainwashed societies of the western state democracy.

Central government has a long history of obstructing the rights of it’s populations mostly these days due to political games and voters views, for example most “democratic” societies support the legalization of marijuana but because the centralization of power and to keep getting the votes from a minority of people (generally religious conservatives) the central government refuses to abide by the majority will of society and unnaturally obstructs the legalization of a natural plant like marijuana,  so once again obstructs the individuals right as a human to be fully free mentally and physically to do what they want as long as it only affects him and no other person except a willing partner. (anarchism believes the individual is the only authority to himself and himself only)

Another example of the state obstruction in Human Rights is Same-sex marriage the majority of western societies support the legalization of same-sex marriage and equal rights for gay people but once again this is outlawed because of the game called central politics in which you denounce the rights of others in order to stay in power.

We are still at an incredible point, where in the 21st century and the “freest civilization ever” a minority of people are denied their human rights because they are simply a minority! so why would you support them when there is a majority who will support you for denouncing the minority ? In this case gays but in the 1900s it was Africans and Jews and so on.

See centralized government results in divide and rule! The government trough systems of education, housing, labeling, unequal rights and so on divided the populations up into categories like gays, catholic, Protestant, Jewish, African and so on and they just then simply support the views of the majority group to stay in power, they will throw in a few views that favor the rest just to get their votes but when government has to choose between the groups it will always choose the majority group, in most western societies that happens to be white Christian conservative (who are not the majority but once government divided society into groups they become majority).

Not only in politics but The centralization of power in the workplace and economics has resulted in a system of wage slavery and corporate dictatorship! Workers are simply forced to work for an all mighty all powerful boss that if they disagree with they can simply be fired by the corporate dictator, this wage slave system also has to affect of denying the right of the person to make full profit of his labor, so let’s say for example a salesperson for a big multinational oil company, he alone could be making the company a million or more a year profit but because of the system of wage slavery he only gets a tiny percentage of that profit let’s say $50,000 a year while the boss is making $50 million a year.
In an anarchist system like anarcho-syndicalism he would make full profit or at least the same as every other employee/owner in the company, A-S calls for the dismantling of privately singularly owned companys and instead proposes the ownership and running of the companys would be put in the hands of the workers through a democratic workers council of a sort, (they would own company by owning equal shares in it)

The system of stateist centralized politics has diminished human freedom physically and mentally it continues this day to obstruct the human rights of certain groups and the individual freedom of societies as a whole, it has placed the power over society into the hands of a tiny élite only interested in keeping their own place at the table of power, it cares not for what society thinks or wants(that is of course till they want your vote),
It has resulted in a small amount of people being knee-deep in trillions of dollars while most of the worlds populations are left to starve or be killed by one of the wars launched by this élite power group for their own egotistic and financial reasons.

That is why I believe centralized power obstructs human rights not advances them, there is a lot more reason to why I believe it. just read about anarchism to know more.

The Media Distortion Of Anarchism

If you have being watching the mainstream news medias recent reports on the “occupy movement” you might have noticed the media describing the protesters as “anarchists”, and you would have noticed the description of Anarchism giving by the mainstream is as follows ” a political belief of no government, no rule of law and permanent chaos” , I am sorry but this is another case of pure ignorance from the established news media and it is also a planned propaganda campaign against anarchism by the power élite, because the élite classes fully understand that anarchism threatens their current monopoly over the power and financial institutions of America and the world in general.
Anarchism is not a philosophy of chaos, of no law and the rest of the slanders directed against anarchism, what anarchism is, is an umbrella term giving to a school of political thinking which advocates, personal liberty, workers ownership of the means of production, the abolishment of the wage slave system instead being replaced by a system of full profit of your labor, the dismantling of the current system of centralized government that dominates, manipulates and oppresses societies this would be replaced by a highly organized society of voluntary involvement in the running of communities and workplaces with power being controlled from the bottom up instead of from the top down that now exists in the capitalist  centralized states of most of the world.
Anarchists believe in full personal liberation and ownership of your body and mind, because it is believed that the only authority that is legitimate is your own authority and the rest are illegitimate. This believe results in the conviction and confidence among anarchists that people are smart enough to run their societies themselves without government involvement,

A focus of anarchist thinking is the ownership of the means of production, what we believe is that the current system of wage slavery(renting yourself to a boss) is inhumane, unequal, illegal and morally wrong, we believe that workers in factories, farms and on should take control of their workplaces out of the control of States and Corporations and instead run their workplaces In a workers council, and the profits of the company would be split equally among the employees, such cases exist throughout the world most famously during the Spanish revolution and now in South American Countries where many cases of workers taking control of their almost bankrupt companies and turning a profit exist. Anarchism calls for the end of using human beings as cogs in the capitalist machine where they earn less than half of what their work is worth while their capitalist boss becomes a millionaire of the back of their hard labor .

There are many different kinds of anarchism there is individualists like egoists or anarcho-capitalist who advocate self governance and Independence of their lives at home, and in the case of anarcho-capitalists independence in a laissez-faire Market economy, then there is collectivist forms of anarchism such as anarcho-communism or anarcho-syndicalism who advocate the running of societies based on self-control of  communities and workplaces through such means as labour unions or community councils, collectivists especially syndicalist advocate full workers control and ownership of workplaces in a regulated fair economy.
Anarchists do not propose we abandon modernism and revert back to the stone age instead anarchists propose we move into the future in a fairer, more humane more democratic society where the populations are no longer used as pieces in a game of monopoly by the élite.

Another main principle of most anarchist fields of thought and a principle mostly ignored by the mainstreams description of Anarchism is the principle of pacifism, anarchism is opposed to wars and violence as the two are generally seen as a tool of the élite to dominate, manipulate, divide and control the population, instead anarchism advocates the transition to an anarchist society through a process of educating the population in their rights as workers, as humans, and in their power to bring about change, we believe that this process of peaceful enlightenment will one day bring about an anarchist society

It is impossible to describe anarchism in such a short amount of time and such a short article, this is just a piece about the main aspects of anarchist thinking that I feel is either being ignored or distorted by the mainstream media and political élite.

Obama and former Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak during happier times

The hypocrisy and lack of double standards in American foreign policy never seems to amaze me, and it has done so once again recently in its policies towards the “Arab spring” and in regards to UN resolutions on the political turmoil in Syria and it’s criticism of China and Russia for vetoing these resolutions.
The US ambassador to the UN Susan Rice said she was “disgusted” by the action of China and Russia, but only a few months beforehand Susan Rice sat silently by and refused to applaud and vetoed Mahmoud Abass’s attempt to have a Palestinian state recognized in the UN!
This is what I find extremely hypocritical about Americas “disgust” at Russia and China’s action, it is the fact that America has Always being and still is the number one main user of vetoes in the UN, not to mention the shameful fact that for over 35 years they have vetoed UN resolution 242 which calls for and end to violence between Israel and Palestinians and the creation of a Palestinian state along the borders that existed before the 6 day war in 1967 between Israel and various Arab armies and the division of Jerusalem with east Jerusalem becoming a Palestinian capital, this resolution that America continues to veto year after year has resulted in the prolonging of the Palestinian struggle and has single handily helped to give a small nation like Israel the power to ignore international law and continue their upholding of such high crimes like that of the Gaza blockade or the military use of white phosphorus on civilians which is considered a war crime by international law, the main shame of allowing the client state of Israel be so ruthless is it has stopped any chance of peace in the region or for the creation of a Palestinian state.
This is the reality of American foreign policy and its lack of double standards , If you’re a client state like Israel, that safeguards American Interests in an unsafe region then you are giving a free pass to use methods such as to bomb, shoot, torture, occupy, illegally imprison and other inhuman tactics against either your own population or in the case of Israel, the people you illegally occupy.

On the other hand if you are like Syria who is not a client state of the US and if you pose a threat to American interests then you are not giving a free pass you become what is known as a “rogue state” a state that doesn’t hold American interests and principles at heart, and that must be either gotten rid off by using tactics such as military action internally(civil-war) by supporting opposition groups with money, training and weaponry like we seen In Libya with Gaddafi or Tunisia with Ben Ali [both of whom where politically, financially and militarily supported by Washington] Gaddafi was reluctantly supported this is why the US helped to get rid of him so fast , in order to install a more pro-American government in oil rich Libya.
Another well used tactic of the US imperial strategy around the world is to pacify the population at home by massive wave of pro-war propaganda and beginning an interventionist military war like what happened In Iraq and Afghanistan, That is of course only if your a tyrant despised by Washington, like that of Saddam Hussein whom from 1991 became an unwanted friend by the Washington elite,
Lets say your not tyrant hated by washing ton and you are a one who is pro-American like Hosni Mubarak in Egypt who for decades has being supported politically, financially and militarily by the United states, and who used American weapons against his own population when they rose up against him.
If you are In the case of Mubarak a”client tyrant” gone political burden, what America does is to begin the washington PR scheme on the public so it looks like its supporting the Egyptian people whilst also talking to Mubarak in Egypt.
It will also talk to both partys to negotiate a peaceful transition from dictatorship to “democracy”, The reason behind doing this is because it knows it cannot stop the Egyptian revolution and that eventually Mubarak will be overthrown, but it does not want to be tough on Mubarak because it fears if it acts tough on him then embarrassing could come out about it’s involvement in Egyptian politics and it’s support for dictatorships in the middle east.
Not only did it fear embarrassment it also feared who would come to power in Egypt, the reason Washington supported the status-quo in Egypt at the time was because it well knew and was quite happy about the fact they currently had a pro-American leader in the form of Mubarak, and that If he was overthrown a new leadership might appear that wasn’t quite as friendly towards American interests! We now see this fear has become fact with the election of various Arab nationalist partys in Egypt like the Muslim Brotherhood and so on, which has struck fear into the washington elite with the idea of this Arab party wanting to give power to the Arab people in a powerful Arab nation, in an oil rich country, America will not accept such independence from Arabs and already you can see the American medias propaganda machine spewing out anti-Egyptian information along with the anti-Muslim brotherhood information it has being broadcasting since the 1970s.

The Washington elite have no concern for the populations of any nations especially not Arabs and not even their own, their only concern is representing big American multi-national companies control over, and access to, the worlds main resources of oil, gas and so on, because the revenues  of these resources will then go back into the American treasury and increase the wealth, control and influence of America in the world, something Washington currently sees as its top priority because it fears and rightly the rising threat to their global dominance by the likes of China, Russia and India.

That is the hypocrisy and double standards of US foreign policy the fact it practices what it denounces and condemns when it chooses.

How Obama Hijacked The Wave Of Change

It was a cold day in the Capitol when Barack Obama the son of an American mother and an African father, was inaugurated as the 44th president of the United States, after a year of brutal campaigning first for the democratic nomination then for the presidential nomination Barack Obama became the first African-American US president, sweeping to victory on a message of HUGE “change”.

But did Obama, the man who became the American symbol of change and people power actually have anything to do with creating that grassroots movement of political change? or did Obama just ride to victory on a wave of other Peoples hard work?

There are political activists and intellectuals in America who have spent between 20-50 years building a grassroots movement of educating and getting people politically informed and active in the process and of creating a feeling of social and political change, all this grassroots work came together between 2006-2008 when after the worlds economies went into turmoil and millions of people where left unemployed, homeless, hungry and so on, societies wanted change and Americans wanted change, within weeks of the American economy crashing the number of people becoming involved in grassroots community organizations sky rocketed, you had people refusing to be evicted from their homes, you had workers taking control of their factories after their bosses went bust and tried to fire them, you had people rightly refusing to pay such loans to banks that failed, there was definitely a feeling of political change about to come, suddenly Americans had awoken from their political slumber and where now no longer going to let Uncle Sam walk all over them.

All this seemed like the people wanted America back, then sudden it was announced that an Illinois senator Barack Obama would try get the democratic nomination for president, on hearing this for the first time the American news media outlets like MSNBC, CNN and the rest of them done what the mouthpiece of any capitalist society would do, it took its opportunity, knowing quite well the overwhelming sense of change in the population and looking for a way to stop the people going too far left or right in politics, they made Obama the focus of politics by championing the idea of America having Its first black president, here was the media and establishments way of saying to the people “you want political change? Then vote Obama and you get the first black president”, it was a clear slap on the face to people who had worked so hard to get people politically educated and involved, Here was their hard work being hijacked by news outlets to uphold the current system of politics, and Obama’s team like any “smart” political team would do, is they seen this opportunity to also hijack the feeling of change, Obama crew just one day appeared and made themselves leaders of a movement they hand no hand in creating, they tried to make Obama out to be a good liberal social worker, but let’s be honest Obama only done 3 years working in a poor area of Chicago and it was simply pack his résumé so he could get into Harvard.

And now that he has hijacked somebody else’s hard work and being elected as a “change” politician he thinks he actually done something , Obama actually thinks he created a movement of change in people when in fact he just rode the wave of a movement created by working people over decades of abuse by the system he fully supports.
